SNP in Argyll & Bute

Argyll & Bute is one of the largest constituencies in Scotland. The geography of the area is unique with many remote and dispersed communities as well as towns and industrial areas.

As a result, Argyll & Bute requires a fresh, innovative approach; the SNP is the only party actively developing polices to address issues such a roads & transport infrustructure, affordable housing, Scottish Water constraints and raising educational standards throughout our schools.

Argyll is also unfortunate enough to have the UK's entire nuclear arsenal situated in its community. In addition, the UK Ministry of Defence is currently considering some areas of Argyll for the long term storage of nuclear waste. The SNP opposes the storage of nuclear materials in Argyll & Bute.
